TLDR; We have made an effort to keep the collection and tracking of data to a minimum. We collect information ourselves when you purchase a subscription (so we can fulfill your entitlement to our services) and we log non identifiable information to help us operate our website. Google Play Services collects data outside of our control. We only use the data given to us by Google to judge the popularity and performance of Jarvis and nothing more.

"Us, we, our" language refers to the company FreeSpvce. "The app" refers to Jarvis. "The website" refers to https://JarvisCalendar.com. This document defines what information we collect and how we use it.

This privacy policy applies to Jarvis, the app, and the website https://JarvisCalendar.com. this Privacy Policy is not applicable anywhere else.

We want to make the best effort to protect your privacy and disclose any ways your data is used or collected. Should any of the information present seem wrong, please contact us so we may resolve it. The Website

The website, accessible from https://JarvisCalendar.com, does not use any type of tracking or data collection and serves only as a landing page at the moment. In the future, the information in the section "Third Parties" may apply. Despite this, non identifiable information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks may be logged for this website. This is standard practice and related to delivering the proper function of our website. We use this information to judge how many people have viewed our website, but it will not be used for anything other than this purpose.

The App

Information you submit in the app like calendar data, profile pictures, settings, and your name are kept only on your device if you never create an account with us. If you purchase a subscription and create a account, your calendar data will be uploaded to our servers so that we can make it available to you anywhere. Your profile picture will not carry over to this account and will only be saved on our servers if you choose it again. Your settings and name stay locally on your device at all times. Any data that ends up within our control is transferred securely between us and you. At any time you reserve the right to delete this account which will remove any information related to you from our servers. Your data saved by us will only be viewed by you unless you contact us and request an action which requires us to view it. Other actions within the app such as importing your calendar events may require Jarvis to access data on your device. This information will only be accessed as needed to fulfill the requests you have made.

We are a Data Controller of your information.

Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Information we collect and the specific context in which we collect the information:

• FreeSpvce needs to perform a contract with you
• You have given FreeSpvce permission to do so
• Processing your personal information is in FreeSpvce legitimate interests
• FreeSpvce needs to comply with the law

FreeSpvce will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

Third Parties

The backend servers and systems for storing data, authentication, remote configuration and other services provided within Jarvis are powered by Firebase, a service from Google. We use, plan to use, or may use the services listed below offered by Firebase:

• Authentication (For authenticating users and allowing them to create accounts)
• Firestore (For storing calendar data of users)
• Storage (For storing the profile pictures of users)
• Machine Learning (For locally getting text from images to create calendar events)
• Remote Config (For making quick fixes to Jarvis without releasing a new update)
• Hosting (For hosting the web app portion of Jarvis)
• Cloud Functions (For performing operations on the server and scheduling notifications)
• Cloud Messaging (For sending users notifications related to their calendar events)
• Dynamic Links (For allowing users to create shareable links and allowing Jarvis to read those links)
• App Check (For preventing abuse of our services)

To show the holiday calendars you have chosen within the app, we use the Google Calendar API. To receive the holiday calendars we must make a request to Google's servers, but none of your data is transferred in this action. We only use the holiday calendars you have selected within Jarvis to make requests for each of the calendars from Google, and nothing else.

We do not use services like Google Analytics, but we receive analytical data from Google Play Services. This includes information such as daily active users, installs/uninstalls, the types of devices Jarvis is installed on, and more. We are not in control of the collection of this data and thus it is not possible for us to stop it. This data is only used within FreeSpvce to judge the popularity and performance of Jarvis and cannot be related to any individual.

To process our premium and group subscriptions, we use the Google Play Billing System along with RevenueCat. The data collected for these services is related to the purchases you make in Jarvis and is needed to supply the features you are entitled to. This information will only be collected when you take an action on your subscription (starting, renewing, cancelling, pausing, holding). Your user id, email, and information about the type of subscription you purchased will be available to us. We may aggregate information related to the price of your subscription to calculate our revenue. We do not collect purchase data outside of what you consent to giving us and never will.

Children's Information

We do not knowingly collect data from any person under the age of 13. If you suspect a person under this age to have used our services, please contact us so we can remove their data.

Consent

Within our app, you must mark a checkbox signifying that you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated through a pop-up on our website that will appear for one month after the changes occur. Unless otherwise stated, new changes will take effect immediately.
